I've just been (re) reading the above title by William L. Shirer, written in the 1960's (and a definitive source on the Third Reich). All I have to say is DAMN, reads a lot like our current preident's ascension. It's a great read actually, that you cannot put down. You will see the striking similarities between the two, especially regarding the story related by Hitler in Mein Kampf re: his stroke of propaganda genius in creating the swastika as the symbol to motivate the lower middle class masses against the burgoise of Germany. Need I say more?
